Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need prior networking knowledge for this course?

Basic TCP/IP and network device knowledge is expected. Familiarity with routing, switching and firewall concepts allows participants to get the most out of the course.

Does the course also cover the offensive side?

It is defence-focused, but attack techniques are demonstrated so that defences can be designed correctly. The aim is to place detection and prevention points knowing what an attacker looks for at each step.

How long is lab access provided?

Lifetime access to course materials is provided; virtual lab access is scheduled flexibly and participants progress at their own pace.
